So I have been following this author who wrote things for you, and over a week ago, he shared why he stopped or had to stop writing on his blog, and the things he wrote resonated with me. Especially this part:

Reposting this single photo of my baby girl taken 05-19-2013 while we were exploring the Magnum Opus cafe (this weekend’s adventure was just at BF Homes) and found the Tardis washroom outside, on the balcony. The kid recognized the Tardis’ door from the chalk drawing on my room’s wall and wanted to get a closer look. Proud moment right there.

(Sorry, no photo of the chalk drawing, it got washed off when it rained real hard last year and I haven’t had the time to draw it back again *cries*)

Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven’s sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.
